NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY (NDA) EXAMINATION (II), 2024

Introduction:

Union Public Service Commission has published the National Defence Academy & Naval Academy Examination Notification on 15th May 2024 through its official website, Through the recruitment drive.  The candidates willing to apply online for NDA EXAM must have all the information on this notification like eligibility criteria, exam pattern etc.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates cannot apply for jobs in the defense sector unless they meet the basic requirements. The information on Education Requirements, Age Limit, Nationality, and Physical Standards is provided below. Educational Qualification

Educational Qualification

Candidates for the Army wing need to have completed Class 12/HSC.

Candidates for the Indian Naval Academy’s 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme and the Air Force must have completed Physics and Mathematics in Class 12.

Physical Measurement

The minimum length for the Army, Navy, and Naval Academy is 157 cm.

Minimum Size for Air Force: 162.5 cm

UPSC NDA Selection Process 2024

A significant number of young people who want to join the Indian Army take the NDA test, which is an important exam. Each year, a large number of students apply for this exam.

The purpose of this UPSC test, which is administered twice a year, is to choose cadets to attend the National Defence Academy (NDA) and eventually be commissioned as officers in the Indian Army.

There are three essential elements in the NDA selection process:

NDA Written test: Passing the written test is required of candidates.

Interview with the Service Selection Board (SSB): Those who pass the written test are invited to an interview with the SSB.
